Fundraising
Terms & Conditions

To fundraise on behalf of The Dillon Quirke Foundation, you must agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

These help protect both you and the charity and ensure all fundraising activities are carried out safely, legally, and responsibly.

Permission to Fundraise

Once your fundraising registration is approved, you are granted permission to fundraise in the name of the Dillon Quirke Foundation for the approved activity only. Permission may be withdrawn at any time if these terms are not followed.

Your Responsibilities

As a fundraiser, you are responsible for:

  • Planning and managing your fundraising activity or event

  • Ensuring the activity is safe and appropriate

  • Complying with all relevant laws and regulations

  • Acting in a way that does not bring Dillon Quirke Foundation into disrepute

Insurance

All insurance required for your fundraising activity is your responsibility. This may include (but is not limited to) public liability insurance. The Dillon Quirke Foundation does not provide insurance cover for third-party fundraisers.

Permits, Licences, and Permissions

You are responsible for obtaining any permits, licences, permissions, or approvals required for your fundraising activity (for example, local council permits, venue permissions, or raffles licences).

Support from the charity

Please feel free to contact the Dillon Quirke Foundation for guidance, resources, or advice. We can also help with promoting your event. While we cannot guarantee approval of permits or insurance, we will do our best to support you where possible. We want to help you build a successful fundraiser that you can be proud of.

Use of the Charity Name and Materials

  • You may only use the Dillon Quirke Foundation’s name, logo, and branding with prior approval

  • Materials must not be altered without permission

  • You must clearly state that you are fundraising in support of Dillon Quirke Foundation, not acting as an official representative unless agreed in writing

  • If you are not exclusively fundraising for Dillon Quirke Founation, e.g. split the pot, two charities, club maintenance etc. then you must clearly state so in all promotional materials, as well as how the funds will be split (e.g. 50:50 or '€2,000 will go to Dillon Quirke Foundation and remainder for club maintenance' etc.)

Handling of Funds

  • All funds raised must be paid to Dillon Quirke Foundation within 60 days of the event ending. Please contact us as soon as possible if there is any reason why this may not be feasible.

  • Funds must not be used to cover personal expenses unless agreed in advance

  • Accurate records of income and expenses should be kept

Costs and Expenses

Unless agreed otherwise, all costs associated with your fundraising activity are your responsibility. The Dillon Quirke Foundation is not liable for any losses or expenses incurred.

Health, Safety, and Risk

You are responsible for assessing and managing risks associated with your fundraising activity and ensuring reasonable steps are taken to protect participants, volunteers, and the public.

Cancellation or Changes

You are responsible for obtaining any permits, licences, permissions, or approvals required for your fundraising activity (for example, local council permits, venue permissions, or raffles licences).

Privacy

Any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with the Dillon Quirke Foundation’s privacy policy.
